Choose a task or idea to work through

Make subscriptions and renewal dates visible before deciding what to keep.

This practical exercise helps you make a clearer plan. It does not promise work, sales or earnings.

1. Build an inventory

Using your own statements and receipts, list recurring services, the current price, billing frequency and next renewal date. Do not put account passwords or payment card details in this list.

2. Record the purpose

For each service, write the job it does and the last time you used it. Group tools with similar purposes. Mark anything you no longer recognize and investigate it through the provider directly.

3. Compare the full cost

Use the subscription calculator for monthly prices. For annual plans, record the actual annual charge. Include necessary add ons. Compare the features you need, not only the price on a promotional banner.

4. Protect your work

Before changing or cancelling a service, check how to export your files, what access will end and whether another tool can use those files. Review the provider terms for cancellation and renewals.

5. Make and record a decision

Keep, replace, downgrade or cancel based on your needs. Save confirmations and set a date for the next review. An organized record makes the next decision easier.

Your completion checklist

  • Current prices and renewal dates
  • Purpose and recent use
  • Data export checked
  • Confirmation saved for any change

Your next move

Save your notes, choose one small action and set a date to review what happened.
